Joshua Steimle

Keynote Speaker. Writer. Executive Trainer

Joshua Steimle is a TEDx speaker, contributing writer to Forbes, Fast Company, SCMP, and other publications, and the CEO of MWI, a digital marketing firm with offices in Hong Kong and the U.S. He is a co-director of the Hong Kong chapter of Startup Grind, where each month he interviews successful entrepreneurs and investors in front of a live audience, the recordings of which are distributed online. Steimle is an expert trainer at General Assembly and has presented to various business groups and associations in Hong Kong including the American Chamber of Commerce, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, Founders Institute, and the Self Storage Association of Asia. Steimle recently presented at ClickZ Live Hong Kong, a three day conference focused on digital marketing in Asia. Steimle has been interviewed for TV and radio appearances on topics related to technology.

 

Steimle frequently consults with leaders in government on topics related to entrepreneurship, startups, and business. He has held various board positions for non-profit entities and is passionately interested in matters related to adoption, education, entrepreneurship, economics, and government policy. Steimle holds a Masters of Information Systems Management from Brigham Young University (BYU). Steimle started his agency while a student at BYU where he won the BYU Business Plan Competition in 2001. Steimle was also named the Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2002 by the Utah chapter of the Small Business Administration. Steimle lives in South Lantau with his wife and two children, and is an avid trail runner, triathlete, and skateboarder.
