One of the objectives of the Hong Kong Speakers Bureau is to provide quality training to individuals who want to improve their communications skills, raise their personal potentials and expand their professional opportunities.
Who’s this for?
This one day workshop is for all professionals who use slides to present and would like to transform their own or other’s content into a clear visual story.
What should I bring?
An open mind. A paper notebook and pen.
What will I learn?
You’ll learn to translate your information into impactful visuals that help rather than hinder your audience to understand your key message, and be persuaded by it. Specifically, we’ll cover these topics:
Why 99% of presentations are boring & how to avoid ‘suislide’
Choosing the best tool to deliver the message
Think like a designer – visual design for engaging presentations
Key techniques for delivering with slides or other visual aids.
Is this an IT skills workshop?
No! You will not learn how to use Powerpoint/Keynote/Prezi or any other tool to create slides. We’ll be working mainly with paper and pens and learning to create visual impact to support our message.
